Nick Schulman is currently leading the final table of the $10,000 Limit 2-7 Championship at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Paris Las Vegas. A victory would mark his ninth career WSOP bracelet and his second of the 2026 series, propelling him into an exclusive club of just eight players who have achieved this many bracelets. His potential ninth bracelet would follow Benny Glaser, who recently secured his ninth bracelet.
Glaser, aged 37, reached the nine-bracelet milestone by winning the $50,000 Poker Players Championship. Schulman, at 41, would become the second-youngest to achieve this feat, after Phil Ivey who did so at 36 in 2013, and Phil Hellmuth at 38 in 2003.
The final table features strong competition, including fellow Poker Hall of Famer Todd Brunson and Naoya Kihara. A win for Schulman would also likely place him ahead of Alex Foxen in the WSOP Player of the Year standings, with Glaser and Josh Arieh also in close contention.
Schulman, inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame last year, has had a successful 2026 WSOP. He previously won Event #37: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E., marking one of his five final table appearances this series. He is two final tables shy of tying the single-series record held by Phil Hellmuth (2021) and Jeremy Ausmus (2024).
At the time of reporting, Schulman held a significant chip lead with six players remaining. Tommy Hang was positioned in second place, while Justin Smith held the short stack.
The tournament will conclude with the champion receiving $392,478. A win would bring Schulman's total live tournament cashes recorded by The Hendon Mob to just under $27 million.
