This decision was largely influenced by a delayed flight in May 2025, which led him to play and cash in his first live tournament at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.
Following his initial success, Gurevich quickly established himself in the poker circuit. He secured a 5th place finish in the MSPT Chicago $1,100 Main Event for $30,807. He then qualified for the 2025 WSOP Main Event through satellites, ultimately cashing in 504th place for $32,500, making him the youngest player to cash the event. He repeated this feat six months later by cashing the $25,000 Super Main Event for $50,000. He also won a Circuit ring in September 2025 at Horseshoe Hammond.
His most recent achievement is an 8th place finish in the $1,500 Millionaire Maker, securing $190,000. This brings his total live earnings to $397,375. Gurevich remains focused on cashing the WSOP Europe Main Event to achieve his personal Triple Crown, having previously finished 14th in the European Circuit Championship for $28,928.
Known for his composed demeanor at the table, Gurevich states, "I have zero nerves at the poker table. Even at the FT today. I've never in my life tilted, ever." He often attends events with fellow player Tyler Montoya, and the two have been noted for their social activities outside of tournaments, including a trip to Ibiza.
