Glaser Wins WSOP $50k PPC For Ninth Bracelet

Benny Glaser claimed his ninth career World Series of Poker bracelet and a prize of $1,343,764 in the 2026 WSOP $50,000 Poker Players Championship. This win, an aspiration Glaser has held for years, saw him defeat a final table that included notable players such as Phil Ivey, Josh Arieh, and Jason Mercier.

Glaser's journey to this title included prior final table appearances in the PPC, finishing fifth in 2018 and fourth in 2022. The 2026 event attracted 108 entries. Glaser maintained a strong position throughout the tournament, entering the final day as the chip leader and ultimately prevailing after a five-day battle.

His ninth bracelet ties him with Johnny Moss for sixth-most all-time, placing him just one behind legends like Doyle Brunson, Erik Seidel, and Johnny Chan. At 37 years and 18 days old, Glaser is the second-youngest player to achieve nine WSOP bracelets, only slightly older than Phil Ivey was for his ninth.

The final table saw Glaser eliminate Kristopher Tong in sixth place ($226,172). Maxx Coleman then accounted for Paul Volpe's fifth-place exit ($301,405) before Josh Arieh eliminated Coleman in fourth place ($417,607). Phil Ivey's run ended in third place ($600,698) after a deuce-to-seven triple draw hand against Arieh.

Heads-up play began with Arieh holding a chip lead, but Glaser quickly recovered and established dominance. The decisive hand in Omaha Eight-or-Better saw Glaser's A♥Q♦7♦4♣ overcome Arieh's A♠7♠4♦3♠ on a J♦ river, securing the championship. This victory pushed Glaser's total recorded career earnings to over $12.7 million.
