StakeKings has launched the StakeKings Live: Main Event Auction, offering stakes in 20 professional poker players for the upcoming $10,000 WSOP Main Event. The unique auction format starts all player markups at zero, allowing market demand to determine final valuations, with proceeds directed to the Peak Humanity Charity Gala beneficiaries.

StakeKings has announced the StakeKings Live: Main Event Auction, a novel initiative where poker enthusiasts can acquire shares in 20 prominent players competing in the $10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. This auction distinguishes itself by setting an initial markup of zero for all participating players, with the final markup determined by market demand.

Among the notable players featured in the auction are poker streamers Patrick Leonard and Aaron Barone, the first female Triton champion Xuan Liu, content creator Ethan "Rampage" Yau, and Steven Jones, the runner-up from the 2023 Main Event.

All funds generated from the auction will be donated to the beneficiaries of the Peak Humanity Charity Gala. This charity poker event, scheduled for June 29 at Moon & View at the Palms in Las Vegas, will showcase high-stakes professionals like Punnat Punsri and Santhosh Suvarna, and will be hosted by poker commentators Henry Kilbane and Joey Ingram. High-stakes pro Matt Berkey and NFL linebacker Morlon Greenwood are also slated to attend.

The auction is scheduled to conclude on June 29 at 8 p.m. local time, coinciding with the charity gala. Several players involved have already demonstrated strong performance this summer; Ethan Yau, for instance, has accumulated over $1.3 million in WSOP high-stakes cash games. Xuan Liu has also recorded a 26th-place finish in the $2,000 No Limit Hold'em event for $9,733, in addition to cashing in the $1,700 Circuit Championship.

StakeKings operates as a poker staking platform designed to allow individuals to invest in their favorite players' performances without direct participation in tournaments. The platform facilitates a direct connection between backers and players, enabling shared interest in tournament outcomes.
